Although water is essential for human survival, many people fail to maintain proper hydration levels. The process of staying hydrated is more intricate than simply drinking the recommended 8 cups of water daily, as it is heavily influenced by an individual's physical characteristics and lifestyle habits.

While water is vital to humans, most people aren’t properly hydrated. Hydration is more complex than drinking 8 cups of water a day as it depends on people’s physique and behavior.

Questionnaire Results & Thoughts

The purpose of our questionnaire was to understand what factors prevent potential users from achieving their hydration goals. The results revealed that 60% of the respondents did not consume the recommended daily intake of 8 cups of water. They found keeping track of their water intake and frequent trips to the bathroom the most challenging aspects of reaching their hydration goals.

However, the survey also showed that 50% of the respondents preferred drinking coffee to other beverages regularly. Recent research indicates that coffee and tea can contribute to fulfilling daily fluid requirements. Therefore, our solution could provide additional water infusion recipes to make water more flavorful and encourage users to stay motivated to reach their hydration goals.

The main purpose of this questionnaire is to get to know what is keeping the potential users from achieving their hydration goals.

The results showed that 60% of respondents did not reach the recommended intake of 8 cups of water a day. Trips to the bathroom and keeping track were the most difficult parts of trying to drink at least 8 cups of water.

However, the results also showed that 50% of people prefer to drink coffee than other beverages on a regular basis. Recent research found out that coffee and tea can actually help you meet your fluid needs. According to the result, in order to help users to gain more motivation to achieve their hydration goal is by adding more water infusion recipes to make water taste better.
